Give Every Child a Chance (GECAC) of Tracy is a nonprofit
organization focused on the well-being and academic success of children in the community of Tracy, CA. Our One-on-One Tutoring Program provides focused tutor-mentoring services to qualifying students at no cost.
Our Mission
We believe every child should be given a chance to
succeed. We further believe that community volunteers--working as mentors and academic tutors--together with the school districts, will provide children struggling in school the opportunity to improve academically and become successful, lifelong learners. It is our mission to Give Every Child A Chance.
Our volunteers.
From the founders, board of directors, community partners, corporate sponsors to our mentor-tutors, every aspect of GECAC is driven by the generosity of community volunteers. Because of
the efforts of literally hundreds of volunteers, GECAC is able to offer its tutoring services AT NO COST.
Churches, businesses, civic clubs, educational and governmental organizations and youth programming have joined forces to work for the benefit of our children.
We are committed to developing and maintaining a quality mentor-tutor program that will have a positive impact on the lives of children in our community.
